Impact of Culture on Advertising
30th July, The Saturday Club Kolkata - Advertising Club Calcutta in association with The Telegraph, Sanmarg and EMDI Institute of Media and Communications presented a day long workshop. Dr. A. F .Mathew, the Associate Professor at Mudra Institute of Communications (MICA) and the Guest Lecturer at IIMS conducted the workshop. He talked to the participants about gender, race, sexuality, music, caste, mass culture and other points which influence advertising.
Sandip Chaudhuri, President, Advertising Club Calcutta welcomed the gathering. C.D.Mitra introduced the main speaker. The programme concluded with a lively Q & A session and Certificate of participation handed over to all.
